Scatter (Scatter Plot)

Overview

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Scatter Plot ("the app") is designed to work entirely on your device. This policy explains what data the app handles and how.

Data Collection

Scatter Plot does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or any third party. The app does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data You Enter

Data you type, speak, or scan (via photo) into any of the app's data columns is processed and stored locally on your device only. This data is never uploaded, synced to a server, or shared with anyone.

If you use the app's photo input feature, images are processed on-device for text recognition and are not retained or transmitted after processing.

If you use voice input — including the "Speak Data" feature, which reads a column's values back to you — audio is processed on-device (or via Apple's on-device speech recognition, where applicable) and is not stored or sent to the developer.

Device Permissions

Scatter Plot may request access to the following, used solely for the purpose described and never transmitted anywhere:

You can review or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device's Settings app.

Reports and Exports

PDF reports and CSV data exports generated by the app are created and stored locally on your device, or saved to a location you choose (such as Files or Mail), under your control. The developer has no access to these files.

Third-Party Services

Scatter Plot does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-sharing SDKs.

Children's Privacy

Scatter Plot does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children, as no data is collected at all.
